· Press the ON button of the “Wireless Direct” in the “Wireless LAN” tab.

· Now, click the Wi-Fi button on your printer and hold it for a second.

· Select your suitable device and click the SSID of your printer.

· Now you can successfully enter the password which turns on the Wi-Fi indicator.

Second Method: By using Infrastructure Mode Setup

1. For Windows –

· The very first step is to connect the printer and computer with the help of a USB cable.

· Click on the Wi-Fi button for a second — till the indicator turns blue in color.

· Start the Printer Setting Tool.

· Press the “Communication Settings” button.

· Select the communication mode.

· Enter your router’s SSID and the password.

· Press the “Apply” button.

2. For iOS -

· By using USB connect your computer and printer.

· Hold the Wi-Fi button for a second — till it turns the indicator blue.

· Now, you can successfully start the Wireless Device Setup.

· The Wizard is present in the Printer Driver Package.

· Simply follow the instructions.

· And you will be able to find the Wireless Device Setup Wizard in the “Utilities” folder.

· Enter the SSID and password.

· After entering the password click on the apply button.
